Expressions of Interest
Each year the Port Fairy Ex Libris Book Fair presents a programme to engage readers of all ages and a range of interests. Guests who appear at the Book Fair include authors, journalists, poets, editors, storytellers, cartoonists and.... as well as quality second hand book sellers. Browsing through past programmes will give you an indication of the wide range of backgrounds of guests who have contributed to Ex Libris programmes in the past.
Past guests have commented on the friendly intimate nature of the Ex Libris Book Fair and the opportunity to talk and interact with interested readers. They have encouraged the organising committee to maintain this focus as it sets the Ex Libris Book Fair apart from larger festivals.
The Ex Libris Programme Committee is happy to consider recommendations for future guests. If you would like to recommend someone who has published in Australia, please send your suggestions to with a brief explanation of why you are making this recommendation.
Authors, publishers or agents may also submit expressions of interest. Please provide a resume including publications and experience, publisher and contact details.
Expressions of interest from quality second-hand book sellers are also welcome. These should include information about the book store, specialty books and contact details.
Recommendations and expressions of interest should be received by 28 February 2010.
Please note that submission of recommendations and expressions of interest are not a guarantee of invitation by the Ex Libris organising committee. The organising committee reserves the right to develop a programme that meets the broad range of interests of its patrons.
